Angie has been a political commentator on several networks and news programs, including Fox News, BBC News, NTD, One America News Network, and Real America’s Voice.
Angie Wong attended Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, earning her master’s degree in journalism. While working on her degree, Angie worked as a Researcher for Newsweek. She was responsible for fact-checking, data analysis, source development, and copywriting.
After graduating, Angie Wong quickly launched her career and gained a notable reputation in journalism. Her first position post-graduation was as an assistant news editor at the South China Morning Post (SCMP), where she worked on breaking news for years. Following her tenure at SCMP, Angie transitioned to Time Out Magazine, taking on the Food & Lifestyle Editor role. She distinguished herself as a restaurant critic in this capacity, contributing a popular weekly column titled “Under the Table with Angie Wong.” Her work in these roles showcased her versatility and talent, establishing her as a respected voice in news and lifestyle journalism.
In 2006, Angie Wong advanced her career by becoming the Regional Editor for Zagat, a prestigious role that expanded her influence in culinary journalism. As Regional Editor, she was tasked with overseeing and editing the Zagat guides for three major cities: Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai. Her role involved curating and refining the content to ensure it met Zagat’s high standards, coordinating with local contributors, and maintaining the guides’ reputation for providing insightful and reliable reviews.
Angie Wong‘s next role called for another big move—back to New York, USA. She signed on to be a Power Admin for Facebook Groups. During this time, Angie picked up a second position at Altpoint Ventures. Here, she was responsible for the Social and Engagement role. This role required her to manage Facebook groups and more for the company. In October 2022, Angie Wong became the President of America First. She held this role for over a year before moving on to her next big career break.
Angie Wong became a host of The Final Countdown in September 2023. She works alongside co-host Ted Rall. Together, they provide the daily news and offer different political views. Angie enjoys meeting the new guests who join them daily, especially as they offer diverse opinions, views, and experiences. The Final Countdown is broadcast worldwide on Rumble or radio in Washington DC (105.5F/1390AM) and Kansas City (104.7FM/1140AM).
In addition to her journalism career, Angie Wong has begun pivoting more into the political sphere. This transition has seen her actively involved in various political campaigns, working on several races at both local and federal levels. Angie Wong serves on the Board of Directors for the National Veterans Day Parade. As a board member for the National Veterans Day Parade, Angie plays a vital role in honoring veterans by hosting the event in Washington DC each year. Angie Wong is also the Co-Founder of Operation Bullyproof, an organization dedicated to helping victims of online harassment and bullying through policy change and education.
